Which beach would you prefer to own your oceanfront home on? Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers is currently listing an oceanfront Kalaheo Ave. home on Kailua Beach for $32 Million. That’s an expensive stretch of beach to own a home on with only 4 current active listings starting at $9.8 Million.
I would say, that after living here for many years, we do tend to get picky about which part of paradise we like the best. Of course, it is all good, and fortunately, Oahu presently has options for every oceanfront home seeker who can pull the trigger on a million dollar purchase and maybe a little less. As of today, there are ten to choose from priced under $1 Million.
$825K Hauula Home
The Hauula home pictured above (MLS# 1201973) just came on the market a couple days ago. It has a spacious 3,854 sq. ft. interior with 4 bedrooms/3.5 bathrooms on a 11,286 sq. ft. lot and is listed at $825K. I would say it is the biggest bang for your buck at this time.

A Punaluu 2 bed/1 bath, 955 sq. ft. home/shack on a 13,970 sq. ft. lot (MLS# 1111291) – pictured above – is on a nicer stretch of beach and can be yours for only $785K.

Just a few years ago, we were looking at higher prices and loan interest rates for these properties. I’m sure the time will come soon when many of us will wish we had taken advantage of the present oceanfront buying opportunities.
