Aloha & Welcome to my Home town. I would love to share with you a little about my Hawai'i Nei.
Born at Honolulu’s Tripler Army Medical Center, I’ve lived most of my life on O‘ahu and have 42 years of extensive real estate experience. I graduated from Punahou and obtained my O‘ahu real estate license within three months, in the summer of 1982. Real estate has been a family business for my parents and me. They bought the very first model home in Mariner’s Valley in 1972 and raised our family in Hawaii Kai, since 1967.
My father had been a military intelligence officer, but when asked to transfer from here, he declined. Instead, he launched a new career running Ala Moana Shopping Center, and that culminated in our family business – Hawaiian Pacific Realty – which operated for over 20 years.
My parents, Hal and Pat Reilly, were very active members in the real estate industry, and my mother was my business partner at the East O'ahu office until she retired in 2017.
Through my personal experience and recent NAR designation, I am now a seasoned expert on senior living. I've helped downsize, reorganize and sell homes quickly and efficiently. For those who have reverse mortgages, I know the ins and outs, and the pros and cons. I will create a plan to help Mom and Dad in their later years, so they can protect their estate & secure their future. I have also become a relocation specialist for those moving here from the mainland or internationally. And I have a good understanding of all it requires for Our Military Families to move... again, to a new location. I can make it easier and enjoyable too.
I’ve closed countless transactions over the past four decades in this vibrant business, and I’ve been blessed with an opportunity to change Peoples’ Lives. I’ve been dubbed the ‘Persistent Professional’ by many of my clients, and as a 'Bargain Hunter' by others. Which is funny, because for a brief time in the 1980's, I lived in Beverly Hills and worked for the TV production company, best known for The Price is Right, and then married the producer’s son.
In 1990, I moved back Home to Hawaii Kai, where I grew up. Waterfront living is what I like to call 'Beach Therapy' and works with my lifestyle. Some of my favorite activities include sailing off Waikiki, paddling with Hui Nalu and camping at Bellows on Waimanalo Beach.
I believe in aligning my life and loved ones with gratitude and 'living pono'. Our land – our ‘aina` – is one of the most important assets that our generation must protect and revitalize. I invite you to rediscover O'ahu, if you’re kama‘aina – or discover it for the first time, if you’re new to the islands. Hawaii is a place where you can reconnect with your spirit.
From our son Scott, who is in the Kaiser Complex public school baccalaureate system in Hawaii Kai, I take his school’s philosophy of living the four “R’s” to heart. I incorporate it into my real estate practice: Being resourceful, resilient, respectful and responsible.
My goals are to help my 'people' with all their real estate goals, from their 1st Home to the 10th investment! Nothing is too small or too big.
I love my real estate career! It feels like freedom to me, because it allows me to Change People's Lives & lets me do, what makes me happy.
Please reach out to talk story about your O'ahu real estate needs.
I look forward to changing your life for the better!

Kim and Mariliz are a dream duo whose wondrous performance deserves recognition. Before their arrival, expectations and sales approach were mismanaged. The previous realtor had the listing for nine months and could only produce two weak offers, the highest at $2.6m. The listing was at $3.1m.
When Kim and Mariliz came on board, they had a clear strategy which was quickly executed. Because of their trust and strong relationships within the industry, they lined up five contractors and inspectors to immediately work on the house. Within days (except for the critical inspection report which took longer) the work and reports were completed. The contractors and inspectors did not receive any deposit or have any agreement with me. They dropped everything and proceeded because Kim and Mariliz's word is good as gold. They put their reputations on the line that I would pay their invoices the day upon receipt. It is heartening to know that a handshake still has weight and meaning.
Watching them perform a master class in positioning and selling was a delight. They immediately generated significant, serious interest. Twenty-five parties attended the first and only Open House. Within one week, two parties submitted clean offers which they revised twice in competition with escalation clauses. With flawless timing, Kim and Mariliz asked both parties to submit their best and final offer. The winning bid was $3.25m, higher than the adjusted list and appraisal price of $2.9m. With this Hawai'i Life team, the sale achieved a $350k premium to the list price and $850k more than the previous realtor.

The transaction was quick and seamless due to the intense preparation and transparent, pro-active communication with all parties. No hiccups. No disappointing delays.
I have dealt with numerous realtors and transactions the past 20 years including in Asia, Australia, and Europe. Kim and Mariliz's experience, attitude, work ethic, integrity, and level of care rank at the top. They outperformed on selling my Honolulu condominium in 2021. In 2025 I will place my Diamond Head property in their exceptional hands.
