I was born in Hong Kong when it was still a British Colony, and our family moved to Vancouver Island off the west coast of Canada when I was a kid! Little did I know about North America. I graduated from Cowichan High School, and in a couple of years I moved south to Hawaii. I went to UH, and graduated with a Fashion Merchandising degree, I worked as a department manager, a buyer and then a wholesaler! Since I had a lot sales experience under my belt, I then decided to try my hand at real estate. Now the rest is history. I have been doing real estate for the last 30 years. I find it challenging, and rewarding. It is totally gratifying when you are able to help someone make a decision of a lifetime; they will appreciate you for life (a long time)!

In the meantime, my goal in life outside of my real estate career, is my family, my grandson who is the apple in my eyes. As of Feb 2, 2020, this 22-month old said to me "love Nana"! That makes everything worthwhile.

My passion is cooking. When I'm immersed in my cooking, I find great pleasure especially when my food is done unconventionally and turned out perfect!

Travelling has been a fun goal for my husband and I since we have been married (17 wonderful years). Pete has visited part of all 7 continents and I have been to 5. Our favorite continent at this time is no doubt "Africa". I would go back there in a heart beat!

I also love flowers, and I grow orchids in my backyard. And it is because the love of flowers, I have become interested in IKEBANA, which is a Japanese flower arrangement class. It gives me immense pleasure especially when my sensei approves of my arrangement!

Also, I recently enrolled in piano classes which I enjoy and they help to de-stress my daily real estate work. Learning the Chinese instrument called an Erhu is my new thing now, I'll tell you more in a few months!

I do try to apply my interests into practice. I cook for the homeless for our church once or twice a month. I put my flower arrangement into "Open House" to enhance the look for my Seller's property. I developed a lot of our travelling photos for staging of our clients home.

Last but not least, because I love life, I love people and someone up above wants me to share my love and passion of life with people whom have very short term to live. I have been a volunteer in one of the Hospice Organization for the last 5-6 years, and that gives me satisfaction beyond words.

What my clients are saying...

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that your agent, Ms. Ada Mark (who had helped us in the sale of our home which closed on Dec 31, 2007), did an outstanding job as our realtor. We were very impressed with her knowledge, skills and tenacity to handle what turned out to be a difficult transaction.

This was a very emotional period for us but Ms. Mark made us feel at ease and we really appreciate the care and attention that she gave us every step of the way.

But what stood out the most was that Ms. Mark was not just looking "make a sale", she was keeping the Fujioka's interests as her first priority. We are very thankful to have Ms. Mark as our agent and a trusted friend. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information regarding Ms. Mark and why we consider her the best...a true professional!

My wife and I came to Honolulu from North California for a 6 month getaway. We had planned on buying a piece of real estate to buy, fix up and sell during our stay. We interviewed 5 agents when we arrived. Our last and final meeting was with Ada Mark, who was the best candidate for the job. She was quick to establish our needs and communicate clearly and effectively. We found a run down condo in Diamond Head that was in a very desirable area that was in need of major renovation. Ada was able to negotiate a a great purchase offer that saved us $40,000 under the original asking price. She got us into contract and closed on it quickly. Once it was closed, we remodeled the entire unit and put it back on the market 2 months later. Ada did a great job staging the unit and hiring a professional photographer. After her 1st open house, we received a full price offer. We negotiated with a few other interested buyers and ending up working with a difficult cash buyer. Ada was very diligent with her disclosures and paperwork trail making sure we were protected in the long run.

We were very happy to have had the pleasure of dealing with a Trustworthy agent like Ada. We'd recommend her services to anyone on the island.
