Opening Day at Maui’s First TJ Maxx Store

Yes, I had to go to opening day at TJ Maxx here on Maui. Even with the threat of hurricane Guillermo, I had to see for myself.

We arrived at 7:45am to this:

But, that was okay, because it was totally worth the wait. The waiting was short and the orchestration of the grand opening was done very well. There were a lot of people inside, but it didn’t feel crowded at all.

The store is laid out well, the presentation is great, and there’s so much variety! But the best part is the pricing and quality of the merchandise.

After making my purchases, I was assisted to the checkout line to help facilitate keeping the checkout lines constantly moving. All in all, I’d say the grand opening of the first TJ Maxx on Maui was a grand success!!
