Sands of Kahana – Ideally Located West Maui Vacation Condos with Amenities

Aloha! Here is a quick review of the Sands of Kahana oceanfront condominium resort on Maui. This is a fantastic Maui vacation spot located at one of the best locations in West Maui. Of course, there are many other resorts on Maui that you could choose, but based upon a combination of elements, I feel that this resort deserves a positive review.

First of all, it is conveniently located between Kaanapali and Kapalua (two very popular West Maui locations that most visitors gravitate to upon their arrival). The view from this property is fantastic, providing you with a clear shot of the islands of Molokai and Lanai. If you love to golf, it’s also a great location between five championship golf courses that entertain thousands of golfers each year.

The property is located at 4299 Lower Honoapiilani Road, Lahaina, HI. It was completed in 1982 by Barry Rand and Hans Riecke Associate Architects, and consists of 4 buildings on 7.319 acres. It is a leasehold property (lessor is West Maui Shore Investors/Hyades B. Kiesel Trust). The floor plans range from 1 bed/1 bath, 670 square feet to 3 bed/3 bath, 2,290 square feet.

Depending upon how many people will be accompanying you, you can choose from one bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom units. Not only are they quality constructed, but most are uniquely decorated with upgraded modern conveniences. They are both accommodating and spacious, allowing you to relax within the confines of this condo in total luxury.

By the way, the rooms do not simply have beds and showers. They have full kitchens, and a washer and dryer, making it the perfect place to bring family members and friends for a stay on Maui.

Another thing I really like about the Sands of Kahana Maui resort are nearby quality restaurants. Many have “happy hours” specials and some of the best meals (that the locals frequent as well).

Since many of these are located right near the beach, when you are done eating, you can take a stroll down the coastline and watch the sun go down! I don’t know about you, but I never get tired of the Maui sunsets!
