Waikoloa Village Condo Sales Almost Nil in February 2012

Condo sales in Waikoloa Village were extremely weak with just one condo sale closing in February. The one sale was a short sale in the Paniolo Club complex. This is even worse than January’s sales number of 2 condos.

Here is a look at that one sale:

As you can see, the sale price on this condo was about a third of the original asking price. The only good news for condo sales in February was the number of condos finding buyers and going into escrow – 4 condos in 4 different projects.

I’ll be back next week to look at the inventory level of condos in Waikoloa Village. With slow sales like this, I expect to see that number swinging in favor of buyers.
