It’s a new year…but will it be a new year for sales prices in Waikoloa Village for homes for sale? Only time will tell, but at this time, I think the trend in distressed sales will continue for Waikoloa and that most of the sales will continue to be in the lower price range of under $300,000.
January sales started the year off nicely with a total of 7 homes sold at an average sales price of $281,198. Distressed sales – short sales or bank owned homes after a foreclosure – were still the bulk of overall sales coming in at 5 out of 7 sales, or 71% of homes sold.
Here is a look at the homes that sold in January:
I’ll be back next week to look at the inventory level of homes for sale and if the current market is a buyer’s or a seller’s market.
I love the Big Island! Aloha
