Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers was honored this week in Pacific Business News as the #9 Residential Real Estate Firm in the State of Hawaii, for 2010. What an incredible accomplishment, for only our second calendar-year of business (perhaps needless to say, we’re the youngest company on the list).
The list is based in the total dollar volume of sales, which is a decent measure… but it’s not necessarily the most important, or honorable. One of the great things about Hawaii Life is that we’re in so many markets all around the State. Sure, our largest transaction was for close to $5 million, but our smallest was for under $10,000. At the end of the year, we’ve helped over 400 people with their real estate transactions in Hawaii. We’re a local, Statewide company. We’re not affiliated with a major franchise. We’re the only company in the top 10 who can make those claims.
I’m a proud Principal Broker and Owner today. I’m proud of the 93 brokers and agents who were our “Solid Representation” in 2010. I’m especially proud of our leadership and our employees, the behind-the-scenes crew who keep all of our systems up and running and our value propositions alive and well.
At the end of 2010, we had 93 brokers and agents. Today, we’re at just over 103. We’re not going to grow forever. We fully expect to be the smallest Statewide company on any list, but we have work left to do. We have incredible, powerful tools to offer buyers and sellers. They work. And, as more people see our results, we earn their trust, and their business.
